DYSPORT ® INJECTIONS

Do not get Dysport injections if you are allergic to Dysport or any of the ingredients in Dysport (see Medication Guide for ingredients), are allergic to cow’s milk protein, or had an allergic reaction to any other botulinum toxin product. Women who are pregnant or who are actively trying to become pregnant, who are breast-feeding, and patients who have neuromuscular disorders should not receive Dysport injections.

This is the KEY QUESTION. Everyone is unique. It is not appropriate for everyone to get the same dose in every area. You need to be evaluated by an expert with many years of experience and thousands of injections to get just the right dosage. Most patients need different doses based on the size of their muscles. Furthermore, not everyone needs injections in the same part of the muscle. Also, there are pre-existing asymmetries that exist in every patient that need to be detected and accounted for. Furthermore, female and male faces and anatomy differ, so brow position is very important. These are only some considerations. Visit a true expert to get the best possible result.

On average Dysport can last 3-6 months, but every patient is different which varies the length of the affect of Dysport.

It normally takes 2-4 days to notice the onset of Dysport.
